Scrap, HyDra, Envoy, and Sender to Join LA Thieves For CDL 2025 Season, It’s Claimed

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the CDL ‘superteam’ rumors surrounding the LA Thieves have me absolutely thrilled! The potential lineup of Scrap, HyDra, and Envoy, led by Ghosty, is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

According to reports circulating online, the formation of the much-anticipated CDL ‘superteam’ is edging closer to reality. In a recent social media update, Jacob Hale revealed that reliable sources have verified that Scrap, HyDra, and Envoy will be part of the LA Thieves squad for the Black Ops 6 season.

I’ve learned that Sender is taking over the coaching position after JKap (Jordan Kaplan) left us a few weeks back. Excited to see how this shift impacts our team!

Never Say Never

Recently, it’s been reported that the LA Thieves are planning to create a powerhouse team for the 2025 Call of Duty League season using Black Ops 6. The cost to acquire this team, according to initial predictions, was approximately $750,000. However, the latest news suggests that these buyouts will indeed be made.

Jacob Hale announced via Twitter that Scrap, Envoy from Toronto Ultra, and HyDra from Cloud9 will be teaming up with Ghosty on the LA Thieves for the upcoming season. This impressive lineup could very likely take home a couple of trophies next year without a doubt.

From his rookie season, Scrap has been flying the Ultra flag, gaining fame as a prodigious and fiercely debated competitor in the Call of Duty League. Known for his outspoken nature, he possesses talent that is undeniable. However, despite this talent, there have been instances where he’s fallen short on crucial opportunities, even missing out on some championship titles.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve been cheering for HyDra ever since he joined Cloud9 (formerly New York Subliners) back in 2020 when they entered the CDL. This guy is more than just a player; he’s a multi-award winner with a championship ring and three titles to his name, making him one of the world’s top Call of Duty players.

By bringing together the IGL abilities of Dan ‘Ghosty’ Rothe, who has honed his skills over ten years in competitive play, and the proven experience of Dylan ‘Envoy’ Hannon, you’re setting up an exceptional partnership that could prove unbeatable.

As Hale said on Twitter, the ‘situation could still change, but the team is looking likely.’

We’ll be watching this one closely, just in case.
