Get ready for a scare! The latest installment in the slasher series, Scream 7, came out earlier this year and was a huge financial hit. It’s the first Scream movie to earn over $200 million worldwide, even though it received a mixed reaction from both fans and critics.
Despite some challenges during production, the newest Scream movie is now available to own on Blu-ray and DVD. Get ready for Ghost Face to return to your home entertainment collection!
Scream 7 Comes Home This Summer
Get ready to own Scream 7 on 4K Blu-ray starting June 16, 2026! There will be four different ways to bring home the terror. The standard 4K/Blu-ray/Digital combo pack ($28.99) features the original poster art. An Amazon exclusive edition ($67.99) includes a unique fiery cover and a collectible Ghost Face figure. For steelbook collectors, a stunning version with Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott on the cover will be available for $48.99. And for those who still enjoy DVDs, a standard DVD version will also be released for $25.99. No matter which version you choose, you’ll get six deleted scenes, the music video for Ice Nine Kill’s “Twisting the Knife,” and three behind-the-scenes featurettes.
After sitting out the previous film due to a salary disagreement, Sidney Prescott returns in Scream 7. The movie introduces Sidney’s daughter, Tatum, played by Isabel May, who is now the same age Sidney was when the original Ghost Face attacks began. Though Sidney has moved on with her husband, Mark (Joel McHale), a new Ghost Face emerges, targeting both her and Tatum. The new killer also has a mysterious connection to the original killer, Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard), raising questions about whether he might still be alive. While the film brings back beloved characters like Sidney, Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding), and Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown), it faced significant challenges during production. These began with the firing of Melissa Barrera in late 2023, which forced a major overhaul of the project. Jenna Ortega’s departure followed, leading to a search for a new director. Despite ultimately having series creator Kevin Williamson take the helm, Scream 7 received a disappointing 30% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
