On the artwork of the selection boxes available in digital storefronts, it’s evidently stated that the cartridge contains both the Nintendo Switch game and an upgrade pack for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, implying that the original Switch game is part of the cartridge.

It’s interesting to note that games like Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Star-Crossed World seem to share the identical warning label on their packaging, suggesting a possible extension of this characteristic to future “Nintendo Switch 2 Limited Editions” as well.
