Disney Dreamlight Valley players can begin Lumiere’s third friendship quest, The Spirit Hunters. This quest finally explains the mysterious appearance of items from the Here and There Realm that players have been finding. However, before you can uncover the reason for these strange occurrences, Dreamers must complete a crystal puzzle in DDV.
Spirit Hunters Quest In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
Once you’ve reached friendship level 7 with Lumiere, talk to him to begin the Spirit Hunters quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. He’ll ask you to go to Belle and Beast’s castle to meet a team of investigators he’s assembled. After chatting with everyone, you’ll need to explore three different areas within the valley, looking for clues while wearing the special enchanted Masquerade Mask.
Clues Location In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
The first place you need to go is the Mystical Cave, located on Dazzle Beach. Cogsworth has noticed a strange, cold wind and wants to check it out. First, talk to the clock, and then put on the mask. This will allow you to follow the paw prints leading down to the very bottom of the cave. Don’t forget to interact with the Here and There thorns – you’ll find some wood and a flower there.
After that, head to Sunlit Plateau and go into the Vitalys Mines to locate Tiana. Have a conversation with the chef, and then continue following the paw prints further inside the mines to discover additional thorns. Once you remove them, you’ll obtain a Here and There Thorn.
Lastly, head to Elsa’s Ice Cavern and speak with Belle. Because the cave is quite small, you’ll notice the thorns right away-remove them to obtain a Here and There Book.
Locate Lumiere and talk to him to get your next direction. Since the clues all point to the same location, teleport to the Frosted Heights and go inside the Secret Chamber – the place where Olaf was discovered. Keep an eye out for paw prints and collect the Clay Paw Print. Doing so will cause some unusual symbols to show up close to the chamber’s entrance. This is important for progressing further.
Okay, so I need to go to the Dark Castle and find a book on Dark Symbols for Belle. Apparently, I can get there through the portal in the Plaza. Once inside, I just need to turn left to find the book. After I give it to Belle, I’ll need to collect some materials to find the Here and There Spirit.

How To Use The Crystals To Rotate And Match The Symbols In DDV
After you’ve collected all the necessary items and delivered them to Belle in the Secret Chamber, you’ll need to use the crystals to turn and align the symbols on the floor in DDV. Here’s a simple guide to solving the crystal puzzle:
- Interact with the Middle Crystal one time.
- Interact with the Right Crystal two times.
- Interact with the Left Crystal three times.
Successfully solving the crystals puzzle in DDV will cause the Here and There Fox to appear and complete the Spirit Hunters quest.
