Server Down? Here’s How To Play Monster Hunter Wilds Offline!

The brand new game, “Monster Hunter Wilds,” has just been launched and it’s already shattering sales records. Given its massive fan base, there’s a strong chance you’ll want to join the latest Monster Hunter adventure. However, the only obstacle that might prevent you from jumping into this new installment could be temporary server overload, but chances are, it won’t even be an issue!

How To Play Monster Hunter Wilds Offline

You can still enjoy playing Monster Hunter Wilds even when your internet connection is not active, as long as we’re talking about the gameplay itself.

Starting offline mode is quite straightforward. Simply go ahead and open the game as usual. Soon enough, a message will appear indicating an attempt to connect to the server. However, if unsuccessful, you’ll discover that there’s no connection available. If the problem happens to be server maintenance, you’ll receive a notification about it.

After that, you’ll be redirected to the primary selection screen where you can easily restore your saved game without encountering any problems. However, please note that there are some limitations in place as the game continues to function seamlessly.

These Things Don’t Work When You Play Monster Hunter Wilds Offline

Although you can continue playing the main game and utilizing fundamental aspects such as monster hunting, crafting, and taking on quests without an internet connection, it’s important to note that certain features will not function in offline mode.

  • You won’t be able to search for other players to join your monster hunts.
  • You can’t use the SOS flare when you’re in danger (and, logically, you also can’t help other players with a flare).
  • Endgame content, like special events, isn’t accessible offline.

NPC Helpers In Offline Mode

As a die-hard Monster Hunter Worlds fan, even when I venture into the wilds on my own, I’m never truly solo. The helpful NPC companion is always there to lend a hand!

The role of “Hunter Support” is similar to that of a fellow combatant, dishing out substantial damage during fierce encounters with gigantic beasts, and it can also be summoned during a battle.

You’re all set for your Monster Hunter Wilds adventure, regardless if the servers or internet connection falter.
