I’m so excited about Crimson Desert! I just found out you can actually get the Shield of Conviction by heading to the Church of Calphade. It’s a bit northwest of Hernand on the map, so keep an eye out for it!
You can find the Shield of Conviction in a treasure chest located inside the church tower, directly below the bell. This bell is special because it clears the fog from the surrounding area of the map.
How to Get the Shield of Conviction in Crimson Desert
You can find the Shield of Conviction in the bell tower of the Church of Calphade in Crimson Desert. It’s located northwest of Hernand, close to the Deepfog Basin. On the map, look for the town directly north of the ‘N’ in ‘Hernand’ – that’s where you’ll find it. Here’s how to get there.
- Fast travel to the Deepfog Basin Abyss Nexus, west of Calphade Castle.
- Head east towards the location marked on the map to reach the Church of Calphade.
- Open the treasure chest to the right to obtain the Shield of Conviction.
Look at the bell tower built on top of the church and notice the broken window directly underneath the bell. 
Climb the tower wall and enter through the broken window.
The Pirate King Hat has a special ability called Detect Treasure. It always lets players know when they’re close to a treasure chest that hasn’t been opened yet, such as the one holding the Shield of Conviction.
