During the Machop Community Day Classic, participants receive a unique Timed Research quest that lasts an entire week. Even though the event itself only lasts for a few hours, you’ll need to log in during the event to gain access to this Special Background Timed Research. Completing the tasks within this quest rewards you with Pokemon GO Stardust, XP, a special encounter with Mastery Special Background Machop, and additional benefits. There is also an elevated likelihood of discovering a Shiny Machop as a reward.

During the Community Day event for Machop in Pokemon GO, if you evolve your Machoke, it will result in a Machamp with the Charged Attack called Payback. To obtain a Machoke, first, you need to evolve your Machop using 25 Machop Candy. Then, to transform your Machoke into a Machamp, you’ll require an additional 100 Machop Candy.
