The fifth episode of “Bosch: Legacy” opens with Harry Bosch conversing with an LAPD officer at Sheila Walsh’s crime scene. He posits that this murder might be connected to the Gallagher family’s disappearance, and offers assistance. Simultaneously, Finbar McShane slips away from the area in a van’s backseat. In hiding following Preston Borders’ failed escape attempt, Rita Tedesco watches the news announce his death on TV. Concurrently, Bosch discovers a planted burner phone under his apartment and shares a photo of it with Jimmy Robertson, followed by proposing they catch up for a drink and discuss clearing his name.

In the course of events, I found myself being questioned by Internal Affairs concerning the mysterious call from Preston Borders. To my surprise, Bosch unexpectedly dropped by the station. He confided in me that he had enlisted an old informant, Curtis Dignan, to create discomfort for Kurt Dockweiler during his incarceration. It turned out that Preston Borders discovered this arrangement, and in a shocking twist, he took it upon himself to eliminate the man who had kidnapped me, attempting to implicate Bosch in the crime.
Meanwhile, Robertson and Lopez chose to utilize their enforced leave to pursue a lead, spurred by the knowledge that DA Archer intended to delay clearing Bosch until after the election. This line of investigation led them to Tedesco’s whereabouts, and upon her surrender, they apprehended her. They quizzed Tedesco about Borders’ potential involvement in a plot to assassinate Dockweiler with Bosch, but she denied any such collaboration.

What Happened To Jimmy Robertson At The End Of Bosch: Legacy Season 3’s Fifth Episode?
In the third episode of Bosch: Legacy, a clue suggested that the Gallagher family were not merely missing, but had most likely met with harm. This was inferred due to the discovery of a blanket, which indicated they’d been taken from their cabin, possibly killed elsewhere nearby. Bosch pursued a lead regarding a BaCo truck owned by McShane, suspecting it could have been used to bury the Gallagher family. After finding that the truck had been cleaned, he and Mo tracked its location using a tracker installed in the vehicle. Their investigation led them to discover the bodies of the Gallagher family.

In another part of the story, Chandler is elected as the District Attorney of Los Angeles, while Maddie and Vasquez are hot on the trail of the suspects in a series of home robberies. Interestingly enough, it was previously revealed by the showrunner of Bosch: Legacy that Albert is Vasquez’s cousin. However, at this point, Vasquez remains unaware of Albert’s role.
Meanwhile, Robertson has a secret meeting with Scott Anderson to share the findings of their investigation regarding Harry Bosch’s potential connection to Preston Borders in the Dockweiler murder. Later, Robertson meets up with Bosch for a drink and discloses that he’s shared case notes with Anderson, as well as questioning him about his ties to Curtis Dignan.
As the episode reaches its climax, Robertson orders food from a stand when a masked robber appears, robbing the cashier at gunpoint. The robber then aims his weapon at Robertson’s head and pulls the trigger.
