Should You Cut Coupe or Sonar from the Team in Dispatch Episode 3?

Okay, so playing Dispatch is pretty straightforward. Each episode is basically split in two. First, you get to actually play – sending out your superheroes on missions based on their skills. Then there are cutscenes where you make choices in conversations. Most of the time, those choices don’t really matter, but sometimes they can affect how Robert gets along with the heroes. At the end of Episode 3, there’s this one choice that’s really tough – you have to decide who to let go, and it’s a total head-scratcher!

Please be aware that the following information contains small spoilers for the endings of episodes three and four of Dispatch.

Should You Cut Coupe or Sonar from the Team in Dispatch Episode 3?

During the second shift, Invisigal will face Lightningstruck again, but this time she’ll have Robert’s assistance and will finally be able to capture him. This success will improve her standings and move her out of last place. After the celebration, Blond Blazer will lead you to her office, where you’ll be presented with a difficult choice between Sonar and Coupe. The character you choose will be eliminated from the team and likely won’t appear much in future episodes.

Many players will wonder how to choose which character to remove. Ultimately, the decision is up to you – feel free to keep the character you enjoy the most and want to see continue in future episodes. But before you decide, here are a few things to keep in mind.

Removing a team member will likely upset them and cause them to leave. This will damage your relationship with that superhero and affect another character as well. Specifically, if you remove Sonar, Malevola will become angry with you in Episode 4. During a Dispatch sequence, she’ll refuse to follow your instructions if you send her on a mission and will leave during the shift.

If you remove Coupe from the team, Punch Up’s behavior will change, but what happens in future episodes is still unknown. Both Sonar and Coupe offer unique benefits to the team. Coupe’s stats can be improved by placing him in different positions, while Sonar completely transforms into his bat form with each use, altering his stats every time.

If you enjoy collecting trophies or achievements, consider playing this episode twice, choosing different options each time. This will unlock two unique silver-level trophies and allow you to experience both sets of cutscenes.
