A new event, Lost Legacies, is happening now in The Sims 4. It lets players explore the history of the noble families of Ondarion. Throughout the event, you’ll meet Marina Corsair, the Royal Envoy. But as you learn more, you’ll discover she’s secretly been stealing family treasures and selling them for profit.
The recent Sims 4 Lost Legacies storyline ends with the Royal Envoy trying to flee on a ferry near the Blue Velvet Nightclub. Players must then reveal the truth to her and choose how to resolve the conflict.
Should You Report or Forgive the Royal Envoy in The Sims 4?
When players capture the Royal Envoy, they can choose between two options: either forgive her or report her crimes. Reporting would involve informing the noble families she stole from, while forgiving means letting her go with a warning to stop her thievery.
Players spent four weeks completing quests to get here, and this decision feels significant, leading many to wonder if they should report the Royal Envoy.
Okay, so I was worried about a big impact from reporting or forgiving the Royal Envoy, but it turns out it’s pretty minor! Basically, the only thing that changes is the message you get after you make your decision. She’ll still disappear, and you’ll still see her in your relationship panel for a while, but you won’t be able to have her visit or interact with her beyond those text messages. It doesn’t actually change how she feels about you at all, which is a relief!
Once they finish these quests, gamers can call the Royal Envoy to the current lot using cheats.
What Happens If You Report the Royal Envoy?
When gamers report the Royal Envoy in The Sims 4, they will receive the following notification:
Marina, the Envoy, was stunned as Sim revealed all the lies and evil schemes, and explained how she would inform the royal families. Furious, Marina yelled at Sim, “I will never forget this! You may win now, but I will have my revenge!” Then, she stormed off, leaving their carefully laid plans in ruins.
What Happens If You Forgive the Royal Envoy?
Players who decide to forgive the Royal Envoy will see the following text notification:
Marina, relieved and smiling, thanked Beatrice for not reporting their actions. They admitted to getting carried away by the chance to take the treasures, and asked Beatrice to keep them safe, hinting they might return someday. With that, Marina departed.
