When you start catching insects in Heartopia, you’ll begin with just a handful of common bugs. But as you improve your insect-catching skill, you’ll be able to collect more than 76 different insects, including the rare Siberian Grasshopper!
If you’re trying to complete your insect collection in Heartopia, the Siberian Grasshopper is a must-have! It can be a bit tricky to find, but don’t worry – we’ve put together a guide to help you catch it.
Where to Find & Catch the Siberian Grasshopper in Heartopia

You need to be at least Level 3 in Insect-Catching to find the Siberian Grasshopper. It won’t appear until you reach that level. If you’re having trouble leveling up, try catching bugs like Apollo, Cabbage White, and Large Red Damselflies – they’ll give you the hobby experience you need.
You can find the Siberian Grasshopper in the Fishing Village, no matter the weather—it appears during sunshine, rain, and rainbows—and at any time of day. It’s relatively easy to catch under these conditions, but if you’re having trouble, you can use the Inflatable Insect Attractor, which Naniwa sells once you reach Insect-Catching Level 4.
If you manage to catch a Siberian Grasshopper, you can either sell it to Albert Jr. for gold or keep it as a display item in a Vivarium, which you can buy from Naniwa.
When you visit the Fishing Village, keep an eye out for insects too! You might find Beautiful Leopards, Ants, Blue Shieldbugs, and Horned Beetles there.
