Wooden Plank

This tool is user-friendly, aiding you in recognizing enemy attack patterns to dodge effectively when needed. It serves as an excellent learning instrument for the early stages of the game, helping you survive until you reach the Woodside Apartments.

Handgun

Upon visiting the Woodside Apartments, players initially acquire a handgun in Room 217. Inside the reception area of the apartment, players may come across a note mentioning disturbances caused by gunfire coming from Room 217. Therefore, it’s clear that the source of the noise is a firearm. Upon entering Room 217, players will discover the handgun resting inside a shopping cart.

A handgun is a highly adaptable weapon capable of inflicting substantial harm when aimed at the head. Due to its widespread availability of ammunition across the globe, users won’t have to worry about conserving their bullets before opening fire.

Steel Pipe

In the narrative, players acquire the Steel Pipe as their second melee weapon; it is obtained during a cutscene on Katz Street following an encounter with Maria. After exiting the Blue Creek Apartments, you’ll find Maria in Rosewater Park. Maria suggests a secret “Special Place” where James might locate Mary. During their journey towards this location, they are attacked by Deceptive Figures. To fend them off, James blocks the entrance using a wooden plank and grabs a steel pipe from a nearby automobile.
