Silent Hill f throws Hinako into a terrifying world where her inner demons become real monsters lurking in a dense fog. Initially, players will need to escape from these frightening creatures, but they’ll soon gain the ability to confront and battle them using close-combat weapons. Unlike previous Silent Hill games set in the West, this installment doesn’t include guns. However, Hinako has access to a diverse range of melee weapons to defend herself. Let’s take a look at them all.
All Weapons & Their Location in Silent Hill f
In Silent Hill f, Hinako has access to 12 unique weapons to defend herself against the creatures she encounters in both Ebisugaoka and the Dark Shrine’s Otherworld. These weapons fall into two main types: Light and Heavy.
All weapons have a durability stat and can be fixed using a toolkit. If a weapon’s durability reaches zero, it will be permanently destroyed. However, weapons found in the Dark Shrine area are an exception to this rule.
Players have access to both quick, light attacks and slower, heavier attacks when fighting enemies. The game features a ‘focus’ mechanic that lets Hinako deliver powerful charged attacks using her weapons. However, the focus mechanic functions a little differently with the heavier weapons; it places Hinako in a defensive position, allowing her to block enemy attacks. This variation in how combat works helps keep battles interesting and prevents them from feeling too similar, at least initially.
So, let’s check out the list of weapons players can get in Silent Hill f.
