The upcoming game titled “Silent Hill f” has been officially verified to offer various conclusions, a common trait in the “Silent Hill” franchise, as well as a New Game Plus mode. Created by NeoBards Entertainment, “Silent Hill f” is set for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on September 25, 2025.
In 2024, the remake of Silent Hill 2 was a huge success, and now, Konami is continuing the Silent Hill series this year with their first mainline game in over two decades – Silent Hill f. This upcoming survival horror title, originally announced in 2022, breaks from the franchise’s typical Western setting and instead brings the action back to Japan. Specifically, the game’s narrative unfolds in Ebisugaoka during the ’60s, following Shimizu Hinako, a school student, as she navigates through the terrors and obstacles hidden within the eerie, fog-enshrouded town.
In a recent update, developers of the upcoming game Silent Hill f have revealed that there will be five distinct conclusions, each offering its unique interpretation. Interestingly, during your initial playthrough, you’ll encounter one specific ending. However, further endings will become accessible upon replaying the game. Ryukishi07, the writer for Silent Hill f, explained this choice, stating that they aimed to ensure players experience a purposefully crafted story during their first playthrough and delve into different viewpoints after completing the game once. The events within the game on subsequent runs will influence which ending you receive, hinting that these may not always be clear-cut in terms of morality or outcome. Furthermore, it was disclosed that one of these endings is indeed a “UFO ending,” a concept that has been present in previous Silent Hill titles.
Silent Hill f to Continue Series Tradition with Multiple Endings
In addition to various possible conclusions, the developers of Silent Hill F revealed that the newest release will include a New Game Plus mode. To encourage players to revisit Ebisugaoka again, this mode will feature altered boss battles, increased exploration, and new narrative segments presented through fresh cinematic scenes.
