After the highly successful remake of Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team and the positive launch of Silent Hill f, the popular horror series is teaming up with an unlikely partner: State of Survival, a zombie-themed RPG. State of Survival started as a mobile game but is now also available on PC, and this Silent Hill crossover event aims to bring it to a wider audience.
The Silent Hill series is widely considered a classic survival horror franchise, celebrated for its deeply unsettling psychological scares, incredibly tense atmosphere, and memorable characters. It remains popular even decades after its original release. State of Survival, while not as critically acclaimed, is partnering with Silent Hill in an upcoming event, hoping to attract new players, especially those who enjoy Silent Hill 3.
Silent Hill Collaboration with State of Survival
A special event called Terror in the Fog is coming to State of Survival, bringing characters and elements from Silent Hill into the zombie survival game. Players will be able to play as Heather Mason, a popular character from the Silent Hill series, completing new missions, mini-games, and a challenging boss battle against Pyramid Head. The event runs from October 29th to December 10th and is available on Android, iOS, and PC through Steam.
Some fans are excited to see Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3 featured in the new State of Survival event, while others are upset it’s only temporary. The inclusion of Pyramid Head has also confused some, as his story is closely tied to a different character in Silent Hill 2. Despite these mixed reactions, this Terror in the Fog crossover is a big win for State of Survival and suggests Heather Mason remains a popular character, even outside of the Silent Hill series.
Fans hoping to see more of Heather Mason are excited about the upcoming Silent Hill remake by Bloober Team, and many believe a remake of Silent Hill 3 could follow. While not officially announced, Heather’s recent appearance in the State of Survival collaboration suggests that the developers haven’t forgotten about this beloved game and may still be planning a remake.
