Simple Pokemon Go trick gives unlimited free Lucario Mega Energy

As a dedicated Pokemon Go player with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel elated by the recent turn of events regarding Mega Lucario. The daily Mega Energy bonus from having it as your Buddy was initially bugged and only giving 15 Energy for every 5km walked. But, thanks to a quick-witted Reddit user ‘lxpb’, the issue was promptly fixed, and we now receive the expected 25 Energy per 5km.

After the Raid Day event for Pokemon Go has ended, players can obtain free Mega Energy for Lucario each day using a simple method.

Walking 5km earns you 25 Mega Energy for Lucario as a Buddy, with no restriction on how much you can accumulate per day.

It came as a shock that this popular Pokemon only granted 15 Mega Energy for every 5km walk at first. However, as noted by Redditor ‘lxpb,’ this issue was swiftly resolved, resulting in the anticipated 25 Energy reward. Fans were elated by this update.

Players expressed their satisfaction with Niantic’s prompt resolution, humorously implying a fondness among developers for Lucario. Previously, the player base commended Niantic for providing an extra 13 Raid Passes as intended despite the typo in the event.

Instead, trainers showed greater enthusiasm for utilizing Mega Lucario in Raids and encounters with Team Go Rocket, due to its enhanced strength brought about by the new Fast Move, Force Palm. Notably, Mega Lucario has become the top-tier Fighting-type Pokemon within the game.

Some players encountered an issue while using Lucario as their Buddy to farm Mega Energy: this setup didn’t display how much Mega Energy they would gain, only candies.

In response to that, another person said, “Before you can make a Lucario walk its Mega form, it must undergo Mega Evolution first.” Keep in mind that once you’ve Mega Evolved at least one Lucario, you will receive free Mega Energy for any additional Lucario in your collection, including Riolu.

If you’ve got an ideal IV or radiant Riolu in Pokemon Go, consider adding a second Charged Move before evolving it into Lucario. The expense is merely 10,000 Stardust due to its Baby species status, whereas Lucario demands 75,000 Stardust for the same move upgrade.
