A player of The Sims 4 has expertly rebuilt Conch Street from SpongeBob SquarePants within the game, including accurate versions of SpongeBob’s pineapple house, Squidward’s moai, and Patrick’s rock home. The impressive build and attention to detail have been widely praised by other players online.
It’s hard to believe, but SpongeBob SquarePants has been around for over 25 years! What began as a simple cartoon about a yellow sponge and his friends in Bikini Bottom has become incredibly popular. Because of this, the Nickelodeon show has expanded to include films, a wide range of merchandise, and even original video games. Just recently, Titans of the Tide came out in November, bringing a new platforming adventure featuring SpongeBob and Patrick to both consoles and computers. While there are plenty of official SpongeBob SquarePants games to choose from, many fans also enjoy creating their own tributes to Bikini Bottom and its characters in other games.
SpongeBob SquarePants Fan Recreates Conch Street in The Sims 4
A Sims 4 player named alannah214 recently shared their impressive recreation of Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob SquarePants. They built the iconic Conch Street, complete with SpongeBob’s pineapple, Patrick’s rock, and even the Easter Island head. The homes perfectly match their cartoon appearances – SpongeBob’s pineapple has a smokestack and green leaves, and an iron door. To bring the scene to life, alannah214 placed SpongeBob running down the street and Patrick outside his rock. They used new Sims 4 kits based on SpongeBob SquarePants, and even cleverly enlarged a debug item to create a fitting underwater background.
Alannah214 didn’t just rebuild the outside of SpongeBob, Squidward, and Patrick’s houses – they also created detailed interiors! The build includes rooms seen throughout the show, like SpongeBob’s library, gym, kitchen, bedroom, and living room. They even built a garage featuring the famous Patty Wagon from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
In addition to recreating SpongeBob’s pineapple home, a Sims 4 player named alannah214 also built Squidward’s elaborate Easter Island head, complete with copies of his famous paintings. The build even included Squidward’s art room, featuring him playing the clarinet. Patrick Star’s simple rock house was also recreated, though on a smaller scale, accurately capturing the look from the cartoon. Alannah214 also paid tribute to other memorable locations from SpongeBob SquarePants, like the boulder from the “Pizza Delivery” episode.
This incredibly accurate SpongeBob build has received a lot of love on Reddit, earning over 2,900 upvotes. Users have praised alannah214 for the design, especially how well the proportions were captured. The creator has named it “Conch Street – Spongebob” and shared it in The Gallery. For Sims 4 players interested in creating their own SpongeBob-inspired builds, the official kits are still available for purchase. Although some players have been disappointed with the kits, many are using the items to build some amazing designs.
A recent creation in The Sims 4 isn’t the first time fans have brought Bikini Bottom to life in a video game. Another player previously built a remarkably underwater version of SpongeBob’s neighborhood in No Man’s Sky. With a new SpongeBob movie planned for 2026, the show and its characters are clearly still popular, and it will be interesting to see which game gets the next fan-made tribute.
