Six More Game Modes Could Be Coming To Battlefield 6, Datamine Reveals

Battlefield 6 launched with a variety of game modes, including popular choices like Conquest and Breakthrough, offering players several ways to play. However, EA plans to add even more modes to the game in the future.

TopMob has discovered hints within the game files of Battlefield 6 suggesting that as many as six new game modes might be added soon. These modes were identified through text strings found in the game’s multiplayer code.

  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Raid/Mode/MUT_Raid
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Payload/Mode/MUT_Payload
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Sabotage/Mode/MUT_Sabotage
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/SquadShootout/Mode/MUT_SquadShootout
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/Strikepoint/Mode/MUT_Strikepoint
  • Game/GlacierMP/Gamemodes/TankHunt/Mode/MUT_TankHunt

As mentioned in TopMob’s previous coverage on Naval Combat, “Glacier” is the codename for Battlefield 6. Looking at the strings found shows modes called “Raid”, “Payload”, “Sabotage”, “Squad Shootout”, “Strikepoint”, and “TankHunt”.

Players can look forward to two new modes this fall: Strikepoint and Sabotage. Strikepoint will be available on October 28th with the launch of Battlefield 6 Season 1: Rogue Ops, while Sabotage will arrive on November 18th as part of Season 1: California Resistance.

We’ve discovered some game modes in the data that EA hasn’t officially announced or confirmed yet. Since the files already contain them, we expect more information will be revealed as new seasons are announced. It’s definitely worth watching for updates in the next few weeks and months.

I’ve been playing the new Battlefield game for a few days now, and honestly, it’s getting some of the best reviews the series has seen since Battlefield 1 back in 2016! Grant Taylor-Hill over at TopMob said in his review that the multiplayer is really good – he thinks it’s a big improvement and worth checking out. He even said there’s a ton of fun to be had!
