I am absolutely blown away! A seriously dedicated Sims 4 player has rebuilt the town of Riverwood from Skyrim, and it looks incredible! It’s just the latest in a long line of amazing creations from the Sims 4 building community – they never cease to amaze me with what they can build.
Players have often used the world of Skyrim as inspiration for content in The Sims 4. While many fans create characters based on the popular RPG, some dedicated players take on much larger projects.
Highly Dedicated Fan Recreates Skyrim’s Riverwood in The Sims 4
A Reddit user named DeadGirlRot (Lilithx88 on EA) has recently shown off an impressive recreation of Riverwood, the starting town from Skyrim, built in The Sims 4. The build features key locations like the Sleeping Giant Inn and Riverwood Trader, carefully recreated with details like raised wooden porches to match the original game. They’ve also added touches like thatched roofs, flowerbeds, and hanging signs to really capture the look and feel of Bethesda’s 2011 classic.
Lilithx88 recreated Riverwood from Skyrim in The Sims 4 using the game’s largest lot size. They meticulously built not only the exterior of the town but also furnished the interiors of every building. Fans of Skyrim will instantly recognize details like the common room in the Sleeping Giant Inn and the alchemy corner of Riverwood Trader, thanks to Lilithx88’s impressive attention to detail.
Lilithx88’s Riverwood Lot Doesn’t Use Any Kind of Sims 4 Custom Content
What’s truly remarkable is that this incredible Riverwood recreation was built entirely within The Sims 4 itself, without using any custom content. The creator, Lilithx88, is a console player, meaning they don’t have access to PC-exclusive modifications. They say the build is mostly functional – most of the furniture and objects can be used by Sims. The only issue is with some of the benches, which are positioned too close together. Lilithx88 is still tweaking the design and plans to adjust the bench placement soon. To achieve this look, they utilized nearly all of The Sims 4‘s expansion packs, build kits, and other downloadable content released by Maxis.

All of Lilithx88’s creations, including these lots, are available for free download through the game’s Gallery.
