Slitterhead: How Long Is It?

As a seasoned gamer with decades worth of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Slitterhead is a unique and captivating title that harkens back to the golden age of adventure gaming. The linear-ish missions set in an ’80s Asian city are reminiscent of the classic point-and-click games I grew up with, albeit with a modern twist.

The game titled “Slitterhead” marks the first release from Bokeh Game Studio, established by Keiichiro Toyama, renowned for his work on “Silent Hill” and “Siren”. In this title, you assume the role of a bodiless spirit capable of forming bonds with potent characters referred to as Rarities. You’ll embark on missions with a linear-like structure in a fictional ’80s Asian city, utilizing the Rarities to combat Slitterheads and unravel the enigma surrounding the shifting narrative that spans through time.

How Long Is Slitterhead?

Slitterhead Length

Given that the primary gameplay in Slitterhead is linear and focused on mission advancement, leaving little room for leisurely exploration or side activities, most players can expect a similar duration to reach the end credits. On average, it should take approximately 15 hours, give or take.

During that period, we were able to secure approximately 70% of the accomplishments. For those who aspire to earn the Slitterhead‘s Platinum trophy (or collect all the achievements on Steam/Xbox), you should be able to achieve it within roughly 20 hours.

Completing some tasks may require more time due to their complexity, such as finishing the game on the most challenging setting and gathering all rare accessories/costumes. Locating these collectibles can be trickier than one might expect, since there are no guidepoints or in-game maps to help you find them. Consequently, you’ll likely spend a fair amount of time exploring aimlessly around Kowlong.
