“Smack the Trump” new Steam game replaces him with eagle, tosses him in trash, and spanks him 17 times

A new game called Smack the Trump is coming to Steam on December 18th. It’s a simple clicker game where you essentially ‘smack’ a character resembling the current U.S. president while he appears to be giving a rally speech, and it’s only available on the Steam platform.

Keyjoker Games, a new indie developer, has just released its first game. They previously launched seven simple, inexpensive casual games in 2025, like Penguin Rocketeer, Trolling Football, Penguin’s Love, and Prehistoric Skater – all priced at just a dollar or two. It’s expected that their new game, Smack the Trump, will be similarly affordable, making it one of the most budget-friendly releases on Steam.

The game lets players playfully mock a certain public figure by clicking on objects and triggering exaggerated, satirical reactions. As the Steam description puts it, if you’re annoyed by this person, the solution is to “Smack the Trump!” The game’s trailer shows this in action – the figure gets beaten by an eagle, launched into space in a trash can rocket that crashes into his own university, and even spanked repeatedly. Other options include trapping him in a device he designed himself and being tackled by a football team.

Smack the Trump Features Exaggerated, Slapstick Clicker Gameplay

The game is intentionally over-the-top and comical, not meant to be realistic. The Steam page encourages players to embrace the silliness and relieve stress by ‘smacking’ the caricature of Trump. However, despite the marketing hype, the game is quite simple. A screenshot reveals a maximum possible score of 12, hinting that there are only a limited number of actions you can take.

  • The Eagle
  • The Trashcan
  • The Spanking
  • The Contraption (possibly the toilet show in a screenshot)
  • Football players
  • The man in a sun hat

The in-game score might not be significant, but the Steam page appears to show at least six of the twelve possible ways players can interact with the game. However, considering Keyjoker Games’ past releases are usually very inexpensive, this game is likely cheap for a reason. Ultimately, players will discover whether the score relates to the interactions by simply trying the game themselves.
