Smalland “campsite” update hits consoles

As a seasoned gamer with years of survival game experience under my belt, I am absolutely thrilled about the new “Campsite” update for Smalland: Survive the Wilds! The prospect of facing new enemies, taming mounts, and delving into a plethora of crafting ingredients has me more than ready to brave the wilds.

I’m super excited to share that I just learned about the fresh drop of updates for my favorite game, Smalland: Survive the Wilds! Today, it’s available on PlayStation and Xbox platforms, so grab your controllers and let’s dive back into the wilderness together!

The latest update, titled ‘Campsite’, introduces an abundance of fresh challenges: hordes of new adversaries, creatures you can tame as mounts, and a wealth of crafting materials. Venturing into the newly expanded Wilds could turn any explorer into a hero. Upon their return, they’ll find warmth by a crackling campfire, swap stories about times gone by, and experience a way of life vastly different from the humble colony. However, beware of the dangers lurking beyond the fire’s glow; even the seemingly harmless field mouse and a new boss are poised to attack the unaware.” The developer warns: “Remember, what prowls in the darkness outside the fire’s light is not to be underestimated.

The team notes: “Things aren’t entirely bleak, as Smalland: Survive the Wilds introduces a new NPC, the Geologist. She provides players with a modest yet not cramped sanctuary at her worksite and occasionally shares some of her peculiar and humorous insights.

Right now’s an excellent opportunity to assemble a group of friends, sit cozily around a campfire, and display your dazzling new acquisitions. Among these are the mighty Rodent Spear, a brand-new armor that will undoubtedly captivate seasoned adventurers, and a veritable hoard of crafting materials to fuel their creative endeavors. Boasting a range of user-friendly enhancements, Smalland: Survive the Wilds has never appeared more alluring!

In our assessment, Chris White commented: “Smalland: Survive the Wilds may not have the polished look of a big-budget game, and some textures might appear a bit rough. However, it’s remarkable in terms of its size and density, considering it’s developed by a smaller studio. Notably, I didn’t run into any technical glitches during play (except for the occasional real-life bug). If you’re open to investing your time, Smalland offers an abundance of appeal with its endearing qualities, exceptional crafting system, and captivating lore that consistently piqued my curiosity and inspired me to explore more of its expansive universe. Moreover, it provides a wealth of adjustable settings for those seeking to tailor the challenge, featuring a wide range of options, making it feel like one of the top survival games available today.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds is out now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
