Prior to 2003, he collaborated with Nintendo on that franchise before establishing his own independent company, Sora Ltd., alongside his wife, Michiko.

It’s noteworthy that after some time away, Masahiro Sakurai is once again focusing on the Kirby series with the game Kirby Air Ride.
