In the third mission of Sniper Elite: Resistance, titled The Kill List, players are tasked with locating and eliminating the target Claude La Ronde. By successfully completing this mission objective, fans will earn some XP. However, if you manage to kill Claude La Ronde while he’s carrying cargo, a special reward awaits – the M.1907 weapon. This guide aims to assist players in achieving that unique reward by explaining how to kill Claude La Ronde with cargo within Sniper Elite: Resistance.
Unlocking the M.1907 upon defeating La Ronde (with cargo) grants you access to a powerful secondary armament that exhibits very little bullet deviation. However, this weapon can be tricky to manage due to its smaller magazine size.
Sniper Elite Resistance: Kill Claude La Ronde with Cargo
Kill Enemies Near Claude La Ronde
Although it’s not necessary, secretly eliminating enemies near Claude La Ronde makes it effortless to maintain him in a neutral state. This can be beneficial because it’s straightforward to control La Ronde’s position when he is in this state, enabling players to lead him towards the cargo that will ultimately lead to his downfall.
Players are welcome to choose their own tactics for silently taking down La Ronde’s associates, but starting at the overlook on the river’s lower side is a smart move. Stealth game enthusiasts will particularly appreciate this vantage point as it offers a panoramic view of all enemies surrounding La Ronde, allowing them to take them out with their sniper rifle without triggering any battles.
Wait for La Ronde to Return to Neutral
Resistance or locating some hidden collectibles within the game.
Observers tracking La Ronde can identify that he’s back to a neutral state when the triangle above him turns white. The phrase “all clear” shown at the bottom-left corner of the screen further confirms this, but it won’t pop up for sniper game enthusiasts if there are other active enemies on the map.
Sneak to the Fuse Box
Following the decontamination of the region surrounding La Ronde, when all players are back in a non-hostile state, they should stealthily make their way towards the fuse box situated on the banks of the river nearby La Ronde’s neutral position. This location is quite close to where La Ronde resides, and its exact spot has been highlighted on the enclosed map for easy navigation.
It might be wise for players to save their progress before trying to advance towards the fuse box. For fans of third-person shooter games, this saved game could serve as a backup if they encounter La Ronde prior to defeating him with the cargo and need to reload their progress.
Move La Ronde Into Position & Use the Fuse Box
A suspended tray-like structure, located a few steps south of the fuse box, is where you’ll find it. Your task is to toss a bottle beneath this structure. This act will make La Ronde walk under the tray. Interact with the fuse box immediately once he’s in that position. Now, all you need to do is wait for the cargo on top of the tray to fall onto La Ronde. Once that happens, you’ll have finished the Kill List mission in Sniper Elite: Resistance.
On his way to examine the bottle, Roundabout might approach near the circuit breaker box. Therefore, it’s recommended that players toss the bottle from a different spot first, and then stealthily move towards the circuit breaker box once the target has moved past it.
