As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that, starting November 17, 2025, I’ll be able to get my hands on “Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive” for PC! Excitingly, Netmarble has revealed plans to bring the game to Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in 2026 as well. But that’s not all – they’ve also unveiled some intriguing details about the gameplay of “Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive,” which I believe will surely capture the hearts of fans like me from the South Korean franchise.
The action RPG titled Arise Overdrive was unveiled during Xbox Game Showcase in June, hinting at a unique cooperative multiplayer experience. Since then, there’s been much speculation among fans regarding various aspects of this upcoming game, particularly due to its similarity in name with a mobile game from the same developers. However, the latest announcement about its release date includes a developer note that sheds light on how the two games differ and what sets the new title apart.
Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive’s Release Date
As announced by Netmarble, the release of “Arise Overdrive” will occur in two stages. In the first stage, slated for November 17, 2025, the game will debut on Xbox PC and Steam. The second phase is planned for 2026, when it will become available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Fans can expect that this $40 title will offer a unique RPG experience with a separate gameplay system and progression mechanics compared to its mobile counterpart. There will be no gacha or random number generator (RNG) elements in the game; instead, most items and cosmetics can be acquired through crafting or by advancing through the story. Additionally, the visuals are promised to uphold modern console standards while preserving the distinctive art style of the “Solo Leveling” manhwa.
In the captivating game, Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive, a noteworthy novelty is the inclusion of personalization options. For the first time ever, fans of protagonist Sung Jinwoo can experiment with different hairstyles and wardrobe choices for him. Furthermore, players will have some freedom to customize certain aspects of Jinwoo’s fellow Hunters, albeit their customization seems mainly limited to hair color and style. The game also brings forth adorable pet companions called Yaruru, these shadows aid in resource gathering and item pickup.

In terms of multiplayer interaction, groups of four players will be able to join forces to track down monsters. According to Netmarble, a team can include up to four Sung Jinwoo characters or a combination of other popular Hunters from the Solo Leveling series. These teams can venture into dungeons and challenge boss fights with intense gameplay that includes the addition of OVERDRIVE, an ability that allows for the use of a powerful ultimate move once certain requirements are met.
Players excited for the upcoming global launch of “Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive”, scheduled on November 17, can secure early access by preordering the game now, which will become available three days earlier starting from November 14. Meanwhile, action game enthusiasts might also be interested in “The Player Who Can’t Level Up”, a new title based on a well-known manhwa. Although its release date hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, it’s anticipated to be out soon.
