This article contains spoilers from Solo Leveling.
The anime *Solo Leveling* has become incredibly popular worldwide. It’s based on a well-loved Korean webcomic of the same name, which is definitely worth reading. And for those already enjoying the series, there’s also a sequel called *Solo Leveling Ragnarok*.
The new sequel to Solo Leveling focuses on Sung Jinwoo’s son, Sung Suho, rather than Sung Jinwoo himself. After a long wait, fans are thrilled to hear that Solo Leveling Ragnarok will soon be available in English print. While excitement is high, the specific release date hasn’t been announced yet. Despite some recent comments from the original author, this sequel is still expected to be a great read.
Solo Leveling’s Ragnarok Is Getting a Print Release
Exact Release Date To Be Determined

Solo Leveling has always been a hit with manhwa fans, but it became incredibly popular in 2024 thanks to its anime adaptation. The series is gaining even more fans and becoming increasingly successful. Following the excitement around Season 2, there’s big news about the sequel, Solo Leveling Ragnarok. Currently, you can only read Solo Leveling Ragnarok online through KakaoPage, but that’s about to change. Ize Press announced on social media that they will be releasing a physical print version, meaning fans will soon be able to buy and collect a hard copy of the series.
A physical copy of Solo Leveling Ragnarok is planned, but we don’t have a confirmed release date yet. Fans will need to wait for more details, which are expected to be announced soon.
Is Sung Suho’s Story Worth a Read?

- The Story Is Set In An Alternative Universe and By A Different Creator
- Suho’s Story Is Worth It For Any Dedicated Fan of Solo Leveling
Fans of *Solo Leveling* might be curious if *Solo Leveling Ragnarok* is worth reading. Whether you’ll enjoy it depends on what you’re looking for. The author of the original series, Chugong, has confirmed that *Ragnarok* is considered official to the *Solo Leveling* story. However, it’s important to know that *Ragnarok* isn’t a continuation of the original series’ world. It’s a separate story written by a different author, Daul, which might disappoint those hoping for a direct sequel from Chugong himself.
Chugong, the author of Solo Leveling, created Ragnarok as a treat for fans. He wanted to see another writer’s take on the world he built. While it takes place in the Solo Leveling universe, it doesn’t continue the main storyline. Think of it as an alternate version of events – like the different universes you see in Marvel stories. Chugong is also considering writing a sequel himself at some point.

I think if you’re a fan of Solo Leveling and just want to keep enjoying the story, Ragnarok is a great option. I’ve found Sung Suho to be a really engaging character, and it’s been a fun read so far.
Currently, there are 25 episodes of *Solo Leveling* available – 12 from the first season and 13 from the second. You can watch both seasons on Crunchyroll. If you’re eager for more before season 3 arrives, reading the original manhwa is a good way to continue the story.
