Fans often view Season 2 Episode 11 of Solo Leveling as the commencement of the Jeju Island arc due to its introduction of the black ant. This episode was packed with gripping action and emotional depth, setting it apart in the current season. The nail-biting cliffhanger at the end has left fans on tenterhooks, eagerly anticipating the next installment.
Fortunately, the official account linked to the anime (previously known as Twitter) has shared sneak peek pictures for Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 12. These images offer a glimpse into the upcoming events, and it seems that Episode 12 will revolve around the character Sung Jinwoo’s journey to Jeju Island.
Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 12 Preview Images

1st frame features the primary character, while 2nd depicts him cradling an injured Cha Hae-in, presumably administering a healing elixir. Frames 3 and 4 show Baek Yonhoo, Choi Jong-in, and other Korean Hunters in recovery, possibly thanks to Sung Jinwoo’s concoctions.
The ultimate picture shows a black ant discharging its power. It appears as though the black ant sensed Sung Jinwoo’s presence on the island and decided to confront him.
Sung Jinwoo’s Biggest Challenge To Date
- The black ant physical abilities are insane
- Sung Jinwoo’s Shadows will play a key role
Based on the images, it appears that the battle between Sung Jinwoo and the black ant may not conclude within the same installment. Instead, it could extend into the final episode, making for a more dramatic conclusion. Given the black ant’s extraordinary physical prowess, Sung Jinwoo is unlikely to find this confrontation an easy one.
In his battle with Baran, Sung Jinwoo barely managed to stay alive thanks to Esil Radiru’s intervention. If it weren’t for her selfless act of distraction, Sung Jinwoo might not have survived that moment. Given how formidable the black ant appears compared to Baran, Sung Jinwoo needs to tread carefully, as a single mistake could prove fatal.
With all other Korean Hunters now recovered, there’s a good chance they might assist Sung Jinwoo. If the Hunters decide not to intervene, however, Jinwoo will need to depend on his Shadows. Since these Shadows can’t die, Jinwoo can employ them without concern about them getting hit by enemy attacks.
As a curious viewer, I can’t help but feel the anticipation building for the upcoming Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 12. With its promise of sheer insanity, this episode is certain to captivate fans when it premieres on March 22, 2025.
Solo Leveling is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
