In Episode 11 of Season 2 for the series “Solo Leveling,” viewers found themselves on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating the fate of the hunters stationed on Jeju Island. This relentless creature demonstrated no mercy, swiftly beheading its opponents without hesitation.

Besides Goto Ryuji, no other Japanese Hunter managed to make it through their encounter with the Black Ant. Most of them fell in a swift, fatal strike, underscoring the immense disparity in strength between the Black Ant and the Hunters.

The Queen Ant Goes Down

A group of hunters arrived on Jeju Island with the single objective of destroying the Queen Ant. Intelligence suggested that common ants lived for just a year, making it essential for the Queen Ant to reproduce or face extinction. Consequently, Japanese and Korean hunters chose to join forces in their effort to eliminate the Queen Ant, aiming ultimately to reclaim Jeju Island.

In their mission, the Korean Hunters were assigned the challenging duty of eliminating the Queen Ant, knowing full well it wouldn’t be easy. Surrounded by numerous ant soldiers, the Hunters understood they first needed to defeat this massive force in order to ultimately destroy the Queen Ant.

Choi Jong-in proved useful as he could swiftly burn down foes using his powerful fire spells at an incredible speed.

After handling the mob, the Hunters turned their attention to the formidable Queen Ant, who was indeed tougher than her fellow ants. Working together, the skilled Korean Hunters managed to subdue her. Just before the Queen Ant perished, a loud screech echoed. This alarming sound reached not only the Black Ant but also the rest of them.

The Black Ant Attacks The Hunters

Without delay, the Black Ant swiftly dismantled Choi Jong-in’s protective measures. Subsequently, the Black Ant targeted the Hunters. It inflicted severe damage on them, yet spared some lives. Unfortunately, Min Byung-gyu, a high-ranking Healer among the raiders, was the only fatality. Having joined the assault at the last minute, it seemed that he was tending to other Hunters’ injuries, enabling them to continue fighting. In an attempt to disrupt this, the Black Ant opted to neutralize Min Byung-gyu first.

After the Korean Hunters ceased functioning, the Black Ant ventured outside to pursue Goto Ryuji. It sensed a unique surge of magical energy from the Hunter, which led it to inquire if he was the human king. Puffed up with pride, Goto Ryuji answered rashly and paid dearly for his arrogance. Meanwhile, back at their nest, the Korean Hunters found themselves surrounded by ants and on the brink of extinction. However, Sung Jinwoo’s Shadows intervened just in time to thwart the incoming attacks.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 12 Release Date

On March 22, 2025, Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 12 is set to air and it’s titled ‘Are You the Human King?.’ In this episode, our protagonist, Sung Jinwoo, will travel to Jeju Island where he assists the Korean Hunters. Equipped with healing potions, he tends to their wounds. Once they are restored, Jinwoo turns his attention towards eliminating a swarm of ants. Given his exceptional abilities, dealing with the ants should be as easy as pie for him.
