In the second season of the series “Solo Leveling,” things got off to an exciting start, unlike the more subdued beginning of the first season. The opening episode found our protagonist, Sung Jin-woo, stepping foot in Sung Jinah’s former high school. There, he engaged in a discussion with someone in authority. After addressing matters concerning Sung Jin-woo’s sister, the woman posed an intriguing question: could he assist a student who was grappling with a difficult decision?

After being asked and considering the situation, Sung Jin-woo chose to converse with the young woman. Upon their encounter, he discovered she had taken part in one of his past operations. He attempted to engage her, but she appeared resolved. In response, Sung Jin-woo devised a different strategy. Leveraging his contacts, he managed to gain entry to a less secure gateway. He thought that this might alter her decision, as she would witness the potential perils.

The Hero Enters A Red Gate

Yet, nothing fully prepared Sung Jin-woo for what unfolded next. Upon passing through the gate, it transformed into a crimson barrier. It was soon disclosed that escaping the dungeon was only possible once the main boss had been vanquished or if there was a dungeon rupture. As they ventured deeper, Sung Jin-woo and his companions encountered ice elves. Wise beings, they employed diverse strategies to subdue their foes.

In a short span of time, the Ice Elves claimed a raider’s life. To avoid such incidents and boost his chances of survival and advancement within the White Tiger Guild, Kim Chul, an A-ranked Hunter, chose to organize two separate teams. He trusted in his skills and wished to shield the less capable members, thereby enhancing his own odds. Upon forming these groups, they ventured off, with Sung Jin-woo and his party heading into the forest, while the other group made their way towards open terrain.

The Fate Of The Two Groups

Jin-woo, Sung asked his companions to avoid probing him on any matters, an unusual demand they hesitantly conceded. As they journeyed through the realm of the ice bears, Jin-woo displayed his prowess and swiftly dispatched most of them with minimal effort. He later departed from the group at a secure location stocked with provisions and ventured forth in search of additional ice bears to eliminate. Eventually, he discovered a cave teeming with ice bears. To preserve his energy, Jin-woo resorted to necromancy, calling upon deceased spirits for aid.

Just as predicted, they swiftly overpowered the enemies, yet found it challenging against their leader. Apart from Igris, the massive ice bear managed to wipe out a majority of the soldiers. However, Igris, with his immense strength and speed, quickly dispatched the enemy forces. Meanwhile, Kim Chul’s group faced near-extinction at the hands of the Ice Elves. These treacherous creatures played with their adversaries before eventually defeating them decisively, leaving Kim Chul’s team vanished in an instant.
