Solo Leveling Strongest Characters Sung Jinwoo Hasn’t Fought Yet

With its focus on action, it’s no surprise that Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling has battled a lot of strong opponents. Over two seasons, these fights have given him crucial experience, helping him become more powerful and learn new skills.

The story isn’t finished, so Sung Jinwoo still has many opponents left to face. We’ll meet a lot of these characters in Season 3 of Solo Leveling, but fans will need to be patient while we wait!

Thomas Andre

Affiliation: Scavengers Guild

Thomas Andre is a nationally recognized hero who defeated the dangerous Kamish, preventing the destruction of the world. Without his intervention, chaos would have erupted and magical creatures would have overrun everything. Because of this incredible feat, Thomas Andre and other Hunters at his level earned immense respect and were granted special privileges. However, this wasn’t solely gratitude; countries also feared the sheer power these Hunters possessed.

Thomas Andre is a hugely famous Hunter, recognized as the strongest at the national level. He’s incredibly powerful, easily defeating even the most dangerous magical creatures thanks to his immense strength, stamina, and endurance. He can also draw on power granted by the Rulers. While he appeared in Season 2 of Solo Leveling, he didn’t have a chance to battle Sung Jinwoo. Many fans expect a showdown between Thomas Andre and Sung Jinwoo to happen in Season 3.

Kandiaru

Affiliation: Shadow Monarch

Kandiaru, also known as the System’s creator, designed the system that Jinwoo uses. Because of this, he fully understands how it works. While Jinwoo hasn’t met Kandiaru yet, that will change during the upcoming Double Dungeon Arc. In this arc, Jinwoo returns to Cartenon Temple – the place where he was originally selected as a Player. There, Kandiaru will test Jinwoo to see if he’s prepared to advance to the next level.

As we know, Jinwoo will face off against Kandiaru during the Double Dungeon Arc, and Kandiaru intends to give him a tough battle. The Architect is incredibly fast and strong, making him a worthy opponent for someone as powerful as Jinwoo. He can also command statues to create diversions, allowing him to attack when Jinwoo is distracted.

Antares

Affiliation: Monarchs

Antares, also called the Dragon Monarch or Monarch of Destruction, is incredibly powerful – capable of devastating entire countries. His strength is comparable to the Shadow Monarch, a remarkable achievement. Beyond his raw power, Antares is exceptionally fast. Even if someone could move fast enough to attack him unexpectedly, they’d still need to overcome his nearly impenetrable defense, which resists all conventional attacks. He’s also a versatile fighter, adapting his combat style to gain the upper hand.

Antares can breathe fire, an attack powerful enough to defeat most S-rank individuals. Given Antares’ strength, Sung Jinwoo will have to push himself beyond his current abilities if he hopes to win against the Dragon Monarch.

Rakan

Affiliation: Monarchs

Rakan, known as the Monarch of Fangs, was introduced in episode 25 of Solo Leveling. Because this was the last episode of the season, viewers didn’t get to see him fight. However, he’s expected to play a significant role in future story arcs, giving fans a chance to witness his power.

Rakan is incredibly powerful, even surpassing most of the strongest Hunters—those ranked S-class—in the Solo Leveling world. He’s so strong that a nationally-ranked Hunter like Thomas Andre wouldn’t stand a chance against him. Since Sung Jinwoo is currently weaker than Thomas Andre, he wouldn’t have any chance of winning against Rakan either.

Sillad

Affiliation: Monarchs

Sillad is a powerful Monarch that Sung Jinwoo hasn’t faced yet. He’s known for being rude and arrogant, and doesn’t care much about others. Sillad also tends to act impulsively, which Sung Jinwoo plans to use to his advantage.

Sillad is one of the more powerful Monarchs. He’s remarkably strong, fast, and resilient. He can also use Ice Magic to freeze his opponents, though the freezing process isn’t immediate, giving them a chance to react.

Querehsha

Affiliation: Monarchs

Querehsha is a terrifying ruler, both of insects and of widespread disease. She’s incredibly dangerous and will stop at nothing to eliminate anyone who challenges her, making her a formidable opponent. The only slightly positive thing about her is that she becomes fiercely protective of insects she considers her own, such as Beru.

Querehsha can control the deceased using parasites, effectively turning them into her puppets. She also heals incredibly quickly from injuries. On top of that, she’s able to produce venom.
