While short, the season delivered some fantastic episodes, with the 12th episode, “Are You the King of Humans?” being a particular standout.

However, even though it was excellent, it doesn’t quite measure up to the current season of My Hero Academia. My Hero Academia Season 8 has been consistently well-received, and its eighth episode has really stood out, earning a 9.9/10 rating on IMDb.

Currently, My Hero Academia Season 8 ranks 30th on MAL with a score of 8.84, and that number could still go up. In comparison, Solo Leveling’s best season is ranked 96th on MAL, with a score of 8.62/10.

My Hero Academia Will Be Remembered For Years To Come

Season 8 of My Hero Academia will be the last, which has understandably disappointed fans. While the franchise will continue with things like the Vigilantes spin-off or a live-action movie, these won’t be the same as the main series.
