The original comment complimented Withered Bonnie as looking perfect, and Blumhouse replied, “She is terrifying and she is the moment.” This response mirrors the famous Wendy Williams meme, but it caught the community off guard because Blumhouse addressed Bonnie using female pronouns. While Bonnie uses He/Him pronouns according to the game’s Wiki, some have mistakenly referred to the antagonist as feminine due to its name. Additionally, there has been debate about Bonnie’s color, and even creator Scott Cawthon had to clarify Bonnie’s shade for both the fandom and the film adaptation team, which surprised everyone involved.
