Nikita Buyanov, head of Battlestate Games, announced on social media that Tigz, a well-known Escape from Tarkov streamer, has become the first player to successfully complete the game. He achieved this after a lengthy attempt to finish the final mission on the new Terminal map, which is heavily populated with enemies.

Escape from Tarkov is Possible
According to a recent post from Battlestate Games’ Nikita Buyanov, Tigz is the first player to successfully escape from the game Tarkov and survive. Tigz fought his way through the challenging Terminal area, reached the Zubr boat, and finally escaped the city of Norvinsk, though his safety remains uncertain.
Completing Escape from Tarkov after the 1.0 update has long been the game’s biggest challenge, and previously thought impossible for nearly everyone. While one exceptionally skilled player recently managed to do it, it took them many hours of intense effort.

Nikita noted that Tigz experienced one of the worst possible outcomes in Escape from Tarkov, considering the four endings Battlestate Games created. He also mentioned that achieving the best ending in the game will earn players a special reward directly from the developer.
The last month has been quite eventful for Escape from Tarkov. The game officially launched on November 15th after over a decade in development, but the release wasn’t without its issues. Player reviews were varied, there were problems with promotional Twitch Drops, and the number of players online changed dramatically.
The game is now running smoothly, and players are excited for the upcoming downloadable content and the Winter Update, which will add snow to the game world.
