A devoted player of the game “Sons of the Forest” recently unveiled their latest accomplishment to the community: they constructed an awe-inspiring shelter after diligently working on it for 1,000 in-game days in Peaceful Mode. What makes this achievement all the more impressive is that the gamer refrained from using any cheats while constructing their base within “Sons of the Forest”.
Initially launched by Endnight Games in an early access format back in 2014, the original “The Forest” game eventually matured to its full version 1.0 in 2018. Given the game’s popularity, a sequel titled “Sons of the Forest” was subsequently unveiled by the creators. After spending a year in early access, “Sons of the Forest” also advanced to its 1.0 release in February 2024.
Currently, a gamer known as Alert-Permission-908 has publicly displayed more than a dozen images of an impressive fortress they built in the game ‘Sons of the Forest’. This stone structure appears massive and imposing. Alert-Permission-908 constructed this colossal base singlehandedly, having invested 1,000 days within the game while playing Peaceful Mode. Although Kelvin provided some assistance with construction, no cheats were used in the process. The creation took approximately one year and a month of real-world time to complete, featuring a spacious courtyard and intricate interior design. In response, many gamers praised Alert-Permission-908 for their dedication. Achievements like this highlight the appeal of ‘Sons of the Forest’. The game delivers a powerful horror experience combined with survival elements, but it also empowers players to demonstrate their creativity.
Player Creates Amazing Base After 1,000 Days Playing Sons of the Forest
Although Sons of the Forest was initially launched more than a year ago, it’s seen a significant resurgence in popularity lately. In fact, the number of players on Steam increased by an impressive 457% compared to the previous month. The game reached nearly 50,000 concurrent players recently, a figure it hasn’t achieved for quite some time. Although this number is dwarfed by the 414,257 gamers who played it simultaneously at its release in early access, it still represents a substantial player base.
The surge in popularity for the game “Sons of the Forest ” on Steam can be attributed to its current 66% discount, bringing the price down to just $10. Given that the survival title is generally priced at $30 and offers a satisfying gaming experience, this sale is expected to draw even more gamers in. However, those interested in getting the game at a reduced cost should act quickly as the offer ends on July 10.
