Recent findings unveil a partnership between People Can Fly and Sony Interactive Entertainment, under which they are developing a preliminary version of a video game utilizing Sony’s intellectual property.
According to Zuby_Tech’s observation on X (previously Twitter), People Can Fly and Sony have entered into a contract for the creation of a prototype. The prototype being developed is for a new video game, tentatively named Project Delta, which is connected to one of Sony’s intellectual properties. It remains undisclosed which Sony IP Project Delta is derived from.
In simpler terms, the contract between Sony and People Can Fly specifies that People Can Fly will function as developers for Sony, working under a “work-for-hire” arrangement, which essentially means they’ll receive predetermined compensation. The production agreement also outlines that the development of the game will be segmented into various stages or milestones.
