Sony State of Play February 2026 Date and Time
- February 12, 2026 – 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST
Sony announced a new PlayStation State of Play presentation will happen on Thursday, February 12, 2026, according to a recent blog post by Tim Turi. This presentation will be different from the last one, which highlighted Japanese game developers. Instead, it will showcase exciting third-party and indie games coming to the PS5, as well as updates on projects from PlayStation Studios. The show is expected to last over an hour, promising a lot of new announcements and information for fans.
Fans are buzzing about the upcoming social media showcase, especially that it’s over an hour long and will include announcements directly from Sony. While Sony hasn’t revealed what they’ll be showing, many expect to see updates on Marathon and Saros, as both games are scheduled to launch in early 2026 and are anticipated to be strong earners. There’s also discussion about whether we’ll get a new look at Insomniac’s Wolverine, which is planned for release later this year. The developers have said they’ll share more news this spring, so an appearance is possible.
Fans are also hoping to see Ghost of Yotei appear in some way. The game has been a huge success, recently surpassing the sales of its predecessor in the same timeframe and greatly boosting Sony’s quarterly earnings. Sucker Punch Productions, the game’s developer, is planning to add the free co-op Legends mode, and a trailer could be revealed at an upcoming State of Play event, potentially making it another successful year for the title.

We could also see updates on Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, the fighting game from Arc System Works currently scheduled to release in 2026 – perhaps with reveals of new characters or stages. Finally, Naughty Dog might share another trailer for their highly anticipated game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

Recently, Guerrilla Games surprised everyone with the reveal of a new Horizon game focused on multiplayer. Called Horizon Hunters Gathering, the game is still in early development, but it emphasizes 3-player cooperative gameplay and features a bright, stylized look. While it differs in gameplay and graphics from the main Horizon series, Guerrilla has confirmed that the story and characters will officially be part of the established Horizon universe.
Fit the 9 games into the grid.
