As a lifelong PlayStation enthusiast who grew up playing the classics like Sly Cooper and Jak & Daxter during the golden age of the PlayStation 2, I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that Sony is considering bringing back some of these dormant franchises. It’s been far too long since we’ve had a new adventure with our favorite raccoon thief or furry duo, and it’s high time they made their return!

I remember playing Sly Cooper on my trusty PS2 as a kid, and the excitement I felt when I discovered a hidden collectible or solved a challenging puzzle. The memories I have of those games are some of my fondest from that era, and I can’t wait to pass that joy onto a new generation of gamers.

With the remarkable success of Astro Bot, it’s quite sensible to roll out a few titles based on cherished IPs instead of waiting five years or more for Naughty Dog or Sucker Punch to unveil their next big project.
