Sony has officially announced that games such as “Ghost of Yotei”, “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls”, and “Astro Bot” will be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. Last year’s PS5-exclusive, award-winning game, “Astro Bot”, is among them. On the other hand, “Ghost of Yotei” and “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls” are highly anticipated console exclusives for PlayStation.
The highly anticipated Tokyo Game Show (TGS), Japan’s annual video game exhibition that has been going on for years, will take place from September 25-28 in Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan. As the event approaches, various game companies have affirmed their attendance at this year’s venue, with Sony being one of the most recent to make the announcement. Following a strong presentation of PlayStation games at TGS 2024 last year, the gaming industry leader is now gearing up to reveal a fresh assortment of titles at TGS 2025 in the coming month.
Ghost of Yotei and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls to Make Appearances at the Tokyo Game Show 2025
At Tokyo Game Show 2025, Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled its initial selection of games, which includes “Ghost of Yotei” and “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls”, along with “Astro Bot”. According to PlayStation.Blog (via Gematsu), these titles will be showcased at the event. Notably, the sequel to “Ghost of Tsushima” and the Marvel-themed fighting game are set to appear exclusively in the industry professional area from September 25 to September 26. In contrast, “Astro Bot” will be featured in the public-access Family Game Park on September 27 and September 28. Sony has announced that they will reveal additional games, along with their schedules and other pertinent details, in the future.

Due to this announcement, PlayStation enthusiasts can look forward to seeing more sneak peeks and user feedback on games like “Ghost of Yotei” and “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls” during TGS 2025. Since the release date for “Ghost of Yotei” is planned shortly after its presentation at the event, fans won’t have to wait long before they can get their hands on it from October 2. On the other hand, for those who aren’t part of the early September closed beta for “Marvel Tokon”, its TGS appearance may provide valuable information about the Sony-published title.

As a die-hard gaming fan, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement as I anticipate TGS 2025! While Sony undoubtedly holds a significant position in the industry, it’s not just them gracing us with their presence this year. The legendary Capcom has also confirmed they’ll be joining the festivities!
What makes this even more enticing is that Capcom has already hinted at showcasing some highly-anticipated titles. Among these are the long-awaited “Resident Evil Requiem,” the samurai-infused “Onimusha: Way of the Sword,” and the enigmatic “Pragmata.”
So, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for an unforgettable gaming extravaganza at TGS 2025!
