How Sony’s New Avatar Creation System Uses AI
Users have the ability to specify the desired traits for their digital avatar in the custom prompt of the avatar creation system. They can use simple instructions like “make me stronger” or “make me thinner.” For instance, if an avatar is being made for a racing game, the AI will generate an avatar resembling a racer with typical racing attire and equipment. This is accomplished by using artist-created images as training data for the image generation model, as indicated in the patent.
As a long-time PlayStation enthusiast, I’m always eager to learn about the latest innovations and features Sony has in store for its console.
