Digital Extremes has launched a new update for the closed alpha of Soulframe, called “Preludes 13: A Triquetra of Virtues.” This update includes significant changes to the game.
The latest update brings significant changes, starting with a redesigned Virtue system that offers greater flexibility in character builds and emphasizes the core stats of Courage, Spirit, and Grace. Players can also personalize their envoy with new hairstyles, facial features, and weapons. A new mission type, called The Organ: Medis Gyon, has been added, along with a challenging new boss fight against Bromius Omen Beast. Finally, the update includes several smaller improvements to enhance the overall player experience.

Although Soulframe is currently scheduled for release in 2025, Digital Extremes community manager Sarah Asselin has said that timeframe is more of a hopeful target than a firm date. The company hasn’t officially announced which consoles the game will be on yet, but it will probably be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, just like Warframe.
