At TennoCon 2025, Digital Extremes unveiled a gameplay trailer for the pre-alpha phase of their upcoming title, named Soulframe. Dubbed as “Preludes,” this trailer offers insights into fresh customization options, challenging boss fights, and additional details.
At TennoCon 2025, I was thrilled to witness a gameplay demo that unveiled some fresh adversaries for Soulframe, such as the Wazzard of Wastes and the upcoming Omen Beast boss fight, Bromius. The demonstration also highlighted new hair customization options and personalized combat advancement. Although Soulframe is currently scheduled for a 2025 launch, community manager Sarah Asselin clarified that this date serves as an ambitious target. She further explained that they’re focusing on where they stand by the end of the year, aiming to ensure both players and developers are comfortable with releasing the game when it feels right. As for the consoles, while Digital Extremes has not confirmed the platforms yet, Soulframe is expected to be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, much like Warframe.
