I’m thrilled about the upcoming release of “Soulframe” in late 2024, a free-to-play MMORPG that deviates from the fast-paced action of “Warframe.” Instead, it invites players to embrace a more deliberate combat experience, with an emphasis on agile maneuvers like dodging and parrying. This game transports us into an enchanting fantasy realm inspired by nature, renewal, and discovery. In this world, I’ll assume the mantle of an Envoy, tasked with challenging the malevolent Ode faction that has disrupted the peace. “Soulframe” promises unique procedurally generated dungeons, immersive environmental interactions, and diverse abilities to explore. At present, the game is undergoing an exclusive closed alpha testing phase named “Soulframe Preludes.”

At TennoCon 2024, Digital Extremes unveiled the initial narrative segment of “Soulframe” titled Warsongs Prologue. This introduction offers insight into the game’s setting, characters, and creatures. Previously, it was announced that players assume the role of envoys in “Soulframe.” With this prologue, we begin to understand the context of the game’s story: players will endeavor to lift the Ode curse and revive the lost culture and recollections of Alca’s inhabitants.
