Space Marine 2 Devs Already Have Ideas for a Major DLC

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement when I hear about potential DLC or a sequel for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2! The game has already proven to be a thrilling experience, and the thought of more content is simply enticing.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s developers already have ideas for a DLC or sequel.

In an interview with IGN, Saber Interactive’s Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, shared their plans for additional content or a new installment. According to Willits, the game director for Space Marine 2 has already suggested some potential storylines that could be developed as DLC or as part of a sequel.

As a devoted fan myself, I’m excited to share that despite needing a well-deserved break right now, the dedicated development team behind Space Marine 2 is fully committed to delivering long-term support for our favorite game. Rest assured, Willits has promised not to disappoint us dedicated Warhammer fans and is optimistic about continuing to create captivating content for Space Marine for an extended period.

Speaking on the topic of DLC content for Space Marine 2, Willits pointed out that one significant factor behind World War Z having 25 million players was the release of additional content like DLC packs, free classes, and more. He further noted that when they unveiled such content, there would be an increase in both sales and player numbers.

Willits also expressed his excitement about the future of Space Marine 2, stating that its success has changed their approach to everything. He shared, “This changes everything we do moving forward, from our small games like our third-party publishing games to A Quiet Place next month. We have Toxic Command coming up with Focus soon. Everything that we do now, this changes.”
