Space Marine 2’s Patch 4.0 Introduces a New Operation and Other Changes

As a hardcore Space Marine 2 fan with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that patch 4.0 is a game-changer! The new Operation Termination, set on the dreadful planet of Kadaku, promises to bring forth new challenges and enemies that will test even the most seasoned Space Marine’s skills.

In simpler terms, the latest update (patch 4.0) for Space Marine 2 is now available at no cost! This update brings in a fresh experience titled “Termination” as a new mission, enhances Operation photos with a brand-new mode, makes some adjustments to game balance, and more!

In the upcoming free upgrade for Space Marine 2, a fresh Player-versus-Environment (PvE) operation called Termination is introduced. This operation takes place on the ominous planet of Kadaku, where you’ll encounter formidable adversaries. To vanquish these troublesome foes, you’ll need to employ your artillery effectively.

Space Marine 2’s update also adds new Lethal difficulty for Operations; check them out below.

  • Ammo Crates will have limited refills per player.
  • Majoris Enemies can become more deadly and harder to kill if they get enraged.
  • Armour will be restored through finishers only when you are around your battle brothers.
  • Overcoming these challenges will reward players with new cosmetics.

In summary, the next update for Space Marine 2 introduces a Photo Mode during operations, but it’s available only when playing alone. Additionally, characters you aim to capture will now track the camera with their eyes. To add to that, Focus Entertainment recently shared that Space Marine 2 boasts a player base of over 4.5 million spread across various platforms. Interestingly, it’s the most popular game in the Warhammer 40,000 series, reaching an all-time high of 225,690 simultaneous players on Steam at its peak.

4.5 million Space Marine gamers have signed up for the battle… We extend our gratitude to each Space Marine who’s joined us in this fight just last month! Buckle up, the adventure is far from over ⚔️
