Spectre Divide Launching on PC on September 3rd

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a tinge of excitement as Spectre Divide prepares for its global release on September 3rd. The closed beta was just a glimpse into this promising competitive shooter, and with the likes of shroud lending his expertise to the game’s development, it’s hard not to be optimistic.

Spectre Divide successfully completed a successful closed beta phase not too long ago, and now the creators at Mountaintop have announced that the game will be globally launched (in early access) for PC on September 3rd. Although the beta was limited, discussing the brand-new competitive shooter and sharing gameplay footage was wide open, enabling prospective fans to develop initial impressions.

This 3-on-3 competitive shooting game is designed with esports in focus, benefiting from Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek’s professional input during its creation. It offers a distinct concept, and it’s anticipated to perform well upon its release into the market on September 3rd.

Becoming Two

The distinctive feature of Spectre Divide is that it allows players to manage two entities – one physical, the other a ‘Specter’. In every gameplay mode, players have the liberty to utilize these characters as they prefer. If their ‘corporeal’ character perishes, they continue controlling their Specter instead.

As a fan, I’d say it shares some similarities with Valorant in terms of appearance and mechanics, but it leans towards a more arcade-style feel due to its traditional ADS gunplay. The unique art style, reminiscent of retro cel animation and Japanese anime, gives Spectre Divide an amazing visual appeal on-screen. However, what truly sets this competitive shooter apart is its gameplay.

As an excited fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the release of Spectre Divide! This action-packed game will feature four thrilling maps to explore, along with a whopping twenty weapons to master. Plus, there will be both ranked and casual playlists for players to enjoy.
