As a long-time Splatoon fan and avid gamer, I can hardly contain my excitement for Nintendo’s upcoming Splatfest event in Splatoon 3 for the Nintendo Switch! The three-day extravaganza starting on September 13 promises to be the biggest one yet, with music performances from all three idol groups in the series, intense competition, and a whole lot of community fun.
Nintendo has announced an enormous Splatfest taking place in Splatoon 3 on Nintendo Switch from September 13 to 16. This three-day extravaganza is open to all Nintendo Switch Online members. The excitement includes musical elements, intense in-game competitions, and a lively community experience.
During the Splatfest at The Grand Festival, not only will the Anarchy Splatcast be present, but also the three idol groups from the Splatoon series will perform. Simultaneously, players will face a challenging question: Which is more significant to you – Past, Present, or Future? Nintendo has shared an exciting trailer that previews the Splatoon 3 Splatfest’s offerings throughout the three-day event.
If you haven’t tried Splatoon 3 yet, starting July 25, you can purchase a package containing the game’s physical copy, an Expansion Pass code, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership at certain retailers and the My Nintendo Store. Additionally, two new Amiibo figures representing the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook from Splatoon 3’s storyline and paid DLC, Side Order, will be released on September 5.
Regarding Splatoon 3: Side Order, we checked it out in February and remarked, “The level of detail is truly remarkable. However, what stands out most is the sheer enjoyment it provides. There’s an abundance of storyline and innovative features that I don’t want to give away before its release for the fans. Frankly, any excuse to return to Splatoon 3 is a plus in my opinion. Initially, I thought it would resemble Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion. But Splatoon 3: Side Order appears to offer an extensive serving of content for fans and an unexpectedly complex roguelite experience.”
