Split Fiction receives a new gameplay trailer showcasing a sci-fi stage

In the latest update, Hazelight Studios’ upcoming title, titled Split Fiction, showcases cooperative gameplay with a new video release. For those unfamiliar, this studio is renowned for creating exceptional games like A Way Out and It Takes Two.

As a gamer, I’ve got a heads-up for you about an awesome video down below. This one’s narrated by Josef Fares, the mastermind behind it all. The game, titled Split Fiction, is designed exclusively for co-op play. You and a buddy will embark on an adventure as Mio and Zoe, characters who journey through an assortment of fictional realms, each with its unique themes. Enjoy the ride!

In the presented video, you’ll notice one imaginary realm designed by Mio. This particular realm carries a science fiction aesthetic.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but be thrilled at the prospect of these two characters navigating a world reminiscent of Tron. They’ll grapple with defying gravity with an array of tools at their disposal – swords for close combat, a whip for agility, and even a pulse-pounding chase scene featuring sleek, futuristic motorcycles. The adrenaline rush is already building!

The game, Split Fiction, offers an extensive range of playstyles. With the impressive demonstrations provided so far, it’s not hard to imagine this game being a strong contender for Game of the Year (GotY). In fact, considering the studio behind it won the award in 2021 for their previous work, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to anticipate a repeat performance.

On March 6th, the new game becomes available. Would you like to give it a go? Share your thoughts below and don’t forget to participate in our forum discussion!
