The art director explained that her design was inspired by the clothing of the character Hong Du-kke from the popular 1980s Korean animation “Run Hani.” By referencing this nostalgic figure, she aimed to create a sense of familiarity and cultural connection, effortlessly combining the past with the series’ contemporary storyline.
