STALKER 2 Benchmarks

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the performance data presented for Nvidia graphics cards is quite impressive. The boost in frame rates offered by DLSS 3.0 on various GPUs, particularly the RTX series, is nothing short of remarkable.


As the journey to the Zone approaches within just 8 days, Nvidia has at last disclosed the performance benchmarks for the highly anticipated game, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

The game’s final recommended specs were announced weeks ago, but gamers balked at the 150GB of disk space requirement, which puts it above Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

In simpler terms, the upcoming game titled “STALKER 2” is expected to incorporate Nvidia Reflex and DLSS 3 technologies, and these advancements seem highly beneficial for the gaming experience.

Based on information from Nvidia, graphics cards within the RTX 4000 series experience approximately a 2.4-fold increase in frames when DLSS 3 (with Frame Generation and Super Resolution enabled) is utilized.

These benchmark tests were conducted using Intel’s i9 series processors, with access to 32GB of RAM or more.

What about AMD Cards?

Based on what the creators have stated, a computer equipped with an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card is expected to achieve approximately 60 frames per second (FPS) when running games in 1440p resolution at high settings.

Breaking past that would require a card equivalent to the RX 7900 XTX, but that upgrade comes with a hefty price tag.

As an enthusiastic gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming game I’m eagerly anticipating will have native support for FSR 3.1 from day one. However, there’s a bit of uncertainty about whether it will leverage its frame-generation capabilities right off the bat.
