Star Wars: Hunters is Shutting Down in October

The creators of Star Wars: Hunters have made an announcement that they will be discontinuing the game this year.

Star Wars Hunters’ online servers are scheduled for closure on October 1, 2025, marking the end of playability for the game. The last content update will be released on April 15, 2025. The developers emphasize that this decision was not taken lightly and have pledged to keep players informed and updated throughout the process as they wind down the game.

In this blog post about Star Wars: Hunters, we learn about some exciting updates on the horizon! Starting March 25th, Season 5 is getting a 3-week extension. During this period, the developers plan to replay events and shop bundles from the season, giving players another chance to enjoy them. Plus, the ranked season will be extended too, offering gamers extra time to reach Kyber 1.

On April 15th, the final content upgrade for Star Wars Hunters is scheduled to roll out. This update comes at no charge and will simultaneously discontinue in-app purchases on all platforms. Notably, the April update introduces a new Support Hunter character named Tuya. You’ll be able to play Tuya right away when the update arrives, without any cost. Furthermore, additional game content is set to debut alongside this update as well.

By October 1, 2025, it’s important to note that the servers for Star Wars Hunters will have been permanently closed, meaning the game can no longer be played online.
